It has been given to me a few years ago. I have no information about the maker, date and place.
I believe this kind of helmets was used on tracks in the 70's as the pictures of Eddy Merckx suggest.

This is my mother's bike, which I am listing on here for her. I bought it for her a few years ago, and made sure I got the best possible bike I could find (I work in the bike business) and changed the tyres, inner tubes and brake pads to make absolutely certain it was in the best and safest condition for her to ride. Wonderful Peugeot Equipe rigid steel mountain bike. Shimano 24 Speed LX/XT groupset with v-brakes and rapid fire shifters, sachs chain, mavic wheelset, schwalbe marathon slick tyres - all in all a fast city bike that is tough enough.

This bike is the perfect London commuter, I have deliberately made it incognito so as to minimise it's attractiveness to thieves, but those who know their bikes will be aware that a frame that is hand-built in Italy from columbus steel tubing is extremely forgiving and comfortable - ideal for the not so smooth streets of London. Oh, did I mention this is a really nice light bike?

The paintwork is really quite battered but for use in the city this is what you need, for about £60 you could get an amazing paint job if you want to be noticed, I'm pretty sure this frame would deserve it, as a complete bike this was over £1200 new, I bought it from the guy who ran the bike shop and it has been all over, spending most of it's time in Berlin. Now it is time for this peach of a bike to find a new home. The second photo is to show the columbus sticker which is peeling off...

It is doubtful that you will find a comparable steel framed bike on the market today as most bikes are cheap aluminium with flashy looking forks which need servicing all the time. Do your behind a favour and ride a steel frame, it's the best ride there is out there.

In terms of sizing this bike is an 18" - so it's suitable for people 5'7" - 6'2 depending how you like your set up. The geometry is not as aggressive as canadian bikes and is therefore a lot more forgiving on your back. I'll be sad to see this beauty go but I have too many bikes...

Stunningly beautiful Alex Moulton AM GT Stainless (separable) from 1991. Serial number 912201. The first of the stainless steel Moultons, and thought by many to be the most beautiful of Alex Moulton's designs - more elegant and balanced than the current New Series.

This one has been well looked after and is in fine condition. I am the third owner of the bike. In 2008 I sent the bike back to Alex Moulton for re-furbishment and some subtle updating. The black frame parts were re-painted and original decals re-applied. The titanium Royce bottom bracket was serviced. A second set of bottle cage braze-ons was added on the rear of the seatpost - as with the AM Speed. And the most important update was to the suspension. When I first bought the bike a few years ago it had the original standard front and rear suspension. Because I have used the bike mainly for short, fast rides in the flat countryside around my home in Cambridge, England, I wanted firmer suspension for a more controlled ride at speed. I had the harder rear suspension unit fitted - recognisable from the yellow band around the suspesion rubber. This worked very well for me. I also had the 'hard' front suspension coil fitted. The hard front suspension reduced re-bound at speed - but it was a bit too firm. So when I sent the bike back to Moulton last year I asked Shaun Moulton whether there were any other options. He suggested that I have the new variable rate spring from the Moulton Esprit fitted. This has proved to be the perfect solution. It is soft at first, but as it travels further it becomes firmer, providing a perfect combination of comfortable slow speed ride and well controlled fast speed ride. I am including the original standard secification suspension units (visible on the blue bike bags in photo 9) - should you wish to re-fit them. I also had the brake mountings changed so that I could use either old-style bolt mounting brakes or the now standard recessed bolt.

For most of the time that I have had the bike I have used it in stripped down mode, without mudguards and with a larger chainwheel fitted to get high 'straight through' gearing in combination with an 8 speed Campagnolo 12-19 rear cassette. The original component specification for the bike, including:

Wheels: wonderfully smooth running Hugi hubs on Moulton 17 inch rims (front 20 radial spokes; rear 20 single-crossed spokes)
Rear cassette: Moulton 9, 10, 11 custom cluster, then five light alloy sprockets up to 28T
Tyres: Wolber Moulton slicks (front in very good condition; rear is new)

The Langster is nice for commutes, but primarily this bike is meant for RIDING. It is a road bike (essentially the Allez) with but one speed...I routinely use it for my weekend ~50K rides. The aluminum frame is extraordinarily responsive, but not unforgiving as other frames of this material can be.

The component group is all Shimano Dura Ace, except for the index shifting brake levers which are Shimano 105. The tires are Schwalbe, 120 PSI road tires. The rear hub is a Shimano Caprio 9speed hub. The front hub is an alex moulton hub. The saddle is a specialized ergofit.

In 1983, Campagnolo produced a special component gruppo in honor of the 50th anniversary of the company's founding. Based on the current Record and Cobalto lines, the 50th Anniversary gruppo featured gold plating and a unique design for some of the parts. Some of the 50th Anniversary gruppos came in a special case; all were accompanied by a numbered certificate. Over 10,000 of the 50th anniversary gruppos were made; today, mint condition sets with low numbers (under 200) . Higher numbered groups, and those which have been mounted on bikes, can be purchased for much less.
The 50th gruppo is most easily distinguished by the presence of a number of gold-plated accents on the crank dust caps, pedal dust caps, brake caliper and lever pivots, and the lower derailleur pivot.

Squoval downtube & chainstays - Optimized for the highest possible stiffness-to-weight ratio (STW).
Multi-shape toptube - Squoval at both ends and oval in the middle to counter the complex loads.
Oversized bottom bracket area – Large diameter and smooth, optimized shapes increase bottom bracket stiffness for excellent power transfer from pedal to rear wheel.
Lay-up optimization – In theory, 90Msi ultra-high modulus carbon is great. Extremely stiff, you only need very little of it to make a stiff frame. Unfortunately, it is near impossible to work with and not very strong, so you can’t use it everywhere in the frame and most factories cannot use it at all. That’s why only two bike companies use it in their frames. Cervélo is one of them.
Ultra thin seatstays - With the Squoval chainstays resisting forces so effectively, the seatstays can be very minimalist. By making them wide but thin, they resist lateral bending in the rear triangle while minimizing weight. In other words, the rear triangle is stiff where it needs to be for efficient power transfer from pedal to rear wheel without an undue weight penalty.
Squoval - The dominant forces on the downtube and chainstays are lateral bending forces. The best way to resist those is with a lot of material far away from the center plane. Square tubes do this best, but can easily buckle. A slightly ovalized square creates the best of both worlds, which explains why Cervélo’s Squoval shaped frames win stiffness and lightweight tests everywhere. The front and rear of the toptube also use the Squoval shape to counteract lateral bending, but it transitions to oval in the center to counteract the torsional loading in that section.
