A luxury apartment in Vauxhall (zone 1), Central London, in a prestigious new private development, available immediately. It's available either as a short-term let (at £415 per week inc all bills, 2 weeks minimum), or as a long term let (from £365 per week). However, if you rent the flat immediately (this week) for any period between 2 weeks and 1 month, we will discount the rent to £325 per week including all bills.

Rent can be structured to include bills and council tax. Flat includes: 1 double bedroom, huge living room (with a double sofa-bed so you can have guests), newly fitted kitchen with marble work tops, gas stove, and all new appliances (dishwasher, laundry machine, microwave). 1 full bathroom (with bath and shower) as well as 2nd toilet. Fully furnished. Pine floorboards or pure wool carpets throughout. Apartment is in a private gated compound with courtyard, garden, and private parking. Extremely safe, with a porter to let people in and collect your packages and parcels (very convenient for having deliveries made while you're at work or away), and video intercom to see who's at the door. Cutlery, crockery, bedlinen and furniture are all provided. The building overlooks Vauxhall Park, a beautiful park with tennis courts where you can play for free.

The flat is perfect for a young executive - it's been rented before by Elite Model Agency and Random House publishers for short executive lets. There's even a Top 10 Pop Star living in the development!

Rent is:

£325 p/w for any let between 2 weeks and 1 month that starts this week, including all bills, fully furnished;
£365 p/w for 6 months or more, not including bills, fully furnished;
£395 p/w for 6 months or more, including all bills (maintenence, porter, council tax, electricity, gas, water, etc), also fully furnished.
or £415 p/w for 6 months or fewer, including all bills (maintenence, porter, council tax, electricity, gas, water, etc), also fully furnished.

We can also provide high-speed broadband internet (unlimited downloads) for £7.50 per week for long term lets. This service is included in the short term price.

The flat is about 3 minutes' walk from Vauxhall Tube and Train Stations, and Vauxhall Cross bus hub. It's 5 minute's tube/train to Victoria or Waterloo train stations; and 5 minute's walk from the Thames riverside. Vauxhall is very central - it's in zone 1 (London is divided into 6 'zones' for transport, of which zone 1 is the central part, with the most expensive housing and all the visitor attractions etc, and zone 6 is the furthest away - basically the start of the suburbs). You can get to Victoria, Oxford Street, Waterloo, or King's Cross within 10 minutes. A bicycle is also included in the price of the apartment, which is about 10 minutes' cycle ride to the main attractions in central London.

You can also walk along with river to all the South Bank going-out and cultural areas - cafes, the London Eye, National Theatre and National Film Theatre, Tate Gallery and other galleries, theatres, restaurants, etc, they're about 15 minutes' walk or a short bus ride away. There are some nice little private gyms nearby. The house itself is just off Bonnington Square, a famous artist and co-operative community, and the Bonnington Sqaure pleasure garden "with an aquatic theme - a rowing boat has been mounted over the entrance and one wall inside is dominated by a vast iron water wheel - the dense planting, enclosed space and imaginative use of subtropical plants give it a faintly exotic air." It also has the Bonnington Square cafe - a pretty famous little cafe and restaurant, and the Bonnington Square centre, which has lots of gigs and concerts.

More prosaically, for shopping and groceries, there's a huge Sainsburys' supermarket about 5 minutes' walk away, and a Tescos a couple of minutes more. The house is also just off South Lambeth Road, so a few meters further along begins a portugese restaurant and shopping area with some great cafes and restaurants. There are also some lovely pubs in the area, notably the Fentiman Arms.
