Austin, billed as the Live Music Capital of the World, is where I live, work, and play. As a vacation spot - there's tons to do!

You can hike and bike on the numerous trails, see 6th Street for live music, go horseback riding, party on Lake Travis, attend shows, shop in fabulous hippie chic and discount stores, go hot air ballooning... the possibilities are endless. (It's why I live here.) Austin is 1.5 hours from San Antonio (also highly recommended), 3 hours from Dallas, and 3 hours from Houston. You can get to a beach with a 3-3.5 hour drive, or see NASA in about the same timeframe.

But, England is my second home - and I'll be traveling back in September. I'd like to spend a week in London and a week in Cumbria if possible. That would be Sept. 2009.

I have a 2 bedroom, 1 bath townhome that I can swap during that time. If you want to do something different than the usual Disney World, New York City, and LA... Austin is the ticket.
